Once a veteran competitor on the grueling ASP WQS, Leonardo Neves enjoyed one of his most consistent seasons in '06, racked up four separate 5th place finishes and placed 14th on the yearend ratings. His following rookie year on the ASP Tour in '07 saw no shortage of steady results and his world ranking of 22 has him seated quite comfortably going into the next season. While he may be one of the larger surfers, touring at 5'11" and 185 pounds, the powerful natural footer exhibits tremendous speed in the beachbreak conditions, contorting his well built frame into one lip busting maneuver after another.
