The likable lank from Mona Vale in Sydney has an arsenal of big hacks and even larger airs, and always puts his heart and soul into every wave he catches. Son of 70's surfer Shane Stedman, a veteran of the Australian surfboard industry, Luke grew up surfing on his dad's boards. As a grom, he was involved in a surfing accident that left him with fiberglass in his head, even after receiving stitches, proving that he literally and figuratively had surfboards in his blood. He's been known to do his best surfing long right hand point breaks but is equally as dangerous in a punchy shore break.

Stedman can be described as a pro surfer completely dedicated to his work. Through special diets, three yoga sessions a week, chin-ups, flexibility stretches and a whole lot of surfing, he fine tunes his body, mind, and skills so that he can reach his highest potential.
